Silver Ribbon Coalition was founded by Jean Singleton Liechty, J. D. in 1993 (www.silverribbon.org). We managed to obtain her consent for the use of Silver Ribbon symbol in Singapore and registered Silver Ribbon (Singapore) on 21 Dec 2005 (ROS No 2210/2005). On 4 Feb 2006, President S R Nathan launched Silver Ribbon (Singapore) officially at HDB Hub, Singapore.
